Working in harmony with the seasons

I love flowers.  In fact I have always loved flowers ever since I was a little girl.  In particular it is the natural, wild flowers that have always caught my eye, captured my imagination and invited me to stop, admire and study their intricate beauty.

At The Wild Garden I hope to capture your attention by using natural and wild flowers and foliage within my work, to create beautiful seasonal arrangements that reflect our natural surroundings.

The Wild Garden

How it started

After starting my working life in accountancy (where I was always yearning to be outside) I took a change of direction and studied and worked within the horticultural sector.  Fast forward fourteen years to 2016 when I cleared an unused patch in our garden and started to create a cutting garden, attended several floristry courses and a long-held dream of an idea.....The Wild Garden...was born!!

Flowers as nature intended

The flowers that I grow and use within my work add a whimsical and organic touch, with movement and scent, something you don't always get with imported flowers.  I do however, sometimes supplement my own flowers with bought in flowers (British if possible), especially during the winter months, always keeping the look natural and seasonal.

If you would like more information about my work or my flowers, please do get in touch, I would love to hear from you!!
